Warming up!

Image
Well, it's finally warming up! And since it is, I am able to take more pictures! :)  Also, Peter was able to come to Church again today! He is doing great. He looked pretty tired today though...but he is progressing well. Please continue to pray for him.  And we are still stuck in the 7th Day Adventist church. It is a nice church, I just miss Rock Creek. :) It is going well though with the repairs. We might brake down the walls in one room, the Fellowship hall. Which would be great if we could! It seems snug in there with so many people in there on Wednesday night. We also got I believe 74 (not sure if it was more or less chairs) maroon chairs to replace the pews. I'm gonna miss the pews! :( ;) Another church was kind enough to donate the chairs to us, by the way.  I was able to go with a friend, Emily Bunce, to the Botanical Gardens to take some pictures of her! Here they are, and some other pictures--- God Bless! ~Emily

Church flooded, Peter, story.

Hello! How is everyone?! Well, as some of you know, our Church, Rock Creek Baptist Church, flooded. The pipes had frozen and then they busted. And the water was just filling up the Church. And it was running for 48 hours. And then after that 48 hours, the decons at our Chirch had a decoys meeting to go to that day. And when they opened the door, out came the water...it was up to their knees before it all flowed out. They ended up having to take up the carpet. It was all soaked. So Lord willing the insurance will cover it. We are praying that there will be no mold either. And we might even have to rebuild part of the Church. Please pray. we are having our Church services at a church close by called Seventh Day Advenist. And since they have their service on Saturday, we get to have our service on Sunday as usual. Pray it will all be back to normal soon. Peter was there at the Church this last Sunday! He was in his wheelchair. And he was able to every once in a while hold up his head ...

The Only County We Have

Image
Hello! Living in a neighborhood, (a rotten one, I might add) we don't have any country like we are used to and love. So, whenever Robbie first took me out to the woods, he said, "Yup...it's the only country we have", and I agreed. So I took some pictures before it snowed, and with the snow. Robbie tries to go out into the woods as much as he can. He said he will take me to other places that he goes/has been to. So I will share those as well, once he shows me. God Bless! ~Emily
